Non-Exempt Responsibilities

Advanced Imaging I uses equipment to visualize internal structures, blood flow and obtain measurements. The imaging program follows governing bodies as applicable: American College of Radiology (ACR) and Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC). In Radiology settings, ACR is followed; in Cardio-Vascular Ultrasound settings, IAC is followed. Cardio-Vascular Sonographer practice follows protocols and techniques as prescribed by the Cardio-Vascular Medical Director. Advanced Imaging I practices within the scope of credentials and with a valid written physician's order. Skill evaluations are performed by the area supervisor or preceptor. Advanced Imaging I will perform, under physician supervision, complete exams per protocol using diagnostic criteria and complete required information in PACS. The role promotes the smooth operation of the Imaging Department through appropriate clerical functions, document handling and dispersion, interpersonal relationships and information gathering. Meets requirements set forth by accreditation bodies (ICAEL, ICAVL, ACR) as appropriate, plus JCAHO, federal and state requirements and department-specific requirements. Performs other duties and responsibilities as required. Qualifications

Education and Work Experience Proof of completion of an AAS or equivalent program required. Graduation from an accredited program with clinical experience required. Registered and/or certified by ARDMS, ARRT, CCI, ARMRIT, CNMT, MQSA credential required. License required if required by state. Current and valid BLS (AHA) certification required. Previous experience in performing imaging on patients of all ages, especially hospital-based experience preferred. Employment Status
