The IV&V Specialist is responsible for ensuring that critical system interfaces, system business rules, requirements, system design, and reporting are functioning in conformance with the organization requirements and within acceptable guidelines. The team will be responsible for assessing various aspects of the project's health, reporting their findings, and making sound recommendations to address project risks and issues. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for participating in IV&V efforts as part of the IV&V team. Performs system and software analysis, quality assurance testing, and business analysis to ensure that systems are functioning according to requirements. Reviews specific processes, work products, deliverables, or other project attributes, identifies risks, and assesses the quality and compliance with industry accepted practices and ability to contribute to project success. Develops independent test plans, cases, procedures, and scripts and performs independent testing of systems. Provides recommendations for improving quality and addressing risks and issues. Prepares presentations, reports, and other deliverables related to IV&V analyses performed. Interacts with multiple technical and business stakeholders. Attends required meetings with agency leadership, project teams (and, if applicable, project staff), and other stakeholders as required. Participates in the risk management process as it relates to execution of the IV&V efforts and to the project being evaluated by the IV&V team. QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a relevant field 4+ years of experience in project management, preferably in technology related projects 3+ years of experience working on Federal contracts. 3+ years of related experience performing IV&V services and documenting findings and issues based on the facts through a data driven approach. Demonstrate knowledge of system (e.g. JAVA, .Net), system/user testing, system/IT infrastructure security, software integration, system architecture design and database design. Demonstrate knowledge of business requirements, Information Technology system life cycle development (SDLC) and agile project management processes. Bachelor of Science in a technical discipline or 4+ years of experience Proficient in Microsoft Products (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.) Experience with meeting/video conferencing tools (Microsoft Teams, Webex etc.) Develop and present client communications, both written and verbal Experience /Qualifications Demonstrated ability to work well in a team and adapt to changing project requirements Problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude. PMP Certification (PMP) Agile Certifications (Scrum, SAFe, ACP, ICAgile, etc.) Familiarity with DevSecOps PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a desk or workstation. Prolonged use of a computer and keyboard, including typing and using a mouse. Ability to handle light lifting (up to 20-30 lbs), including office supplies, files, or small equipment. Frequent use of manual dexterity for tasks such as writing, filing, and operating office equipment (printers, scanners, etc.). Ability to walk or stand occasionally to attend meetings, interact with colleagues, or move around the office. Clear vision (with or without corrective lenses) for reading documents, viewing computer screens, and performing detailed tasks. Ability to maintain focus and attention to detail throughout a full workday. Repetitive motions associated with tasks such as typing, using a mouse, and answering phones. Ability to bend or stoop to retrieve files or office supplies from cabinets or storage areas. Occasional standing, reaching, or walking to attend meetings or use office equipment in different areas of the office.
