About the Company Our client is a leading global construction consultancy renowned for delivering high-profile, complex, and iconic large-scale capital projects. With a strong focus on sustainability and innovation, they are truly at the forefront of their industry.

We are currently seeking talented full-time Project Controls Professionals at all levels to join us as we continue to expand our Life Sciences and Technology & Manufacturing Teams working across Capital Projects in Indianapolis.

There will be several opportunities over the next few months. We are open to applications from outside of Indianapolis from candidates with the right to work in the US who are open to a fly‑in / fly‑out hybrid work arrangement.

Note: This is a hybrid position and requires individuals to work on-site and remotely. Work is primarily conducted on an active construction site with heavy equipment and machinery.

Responsibilities

You will be an advocate of our client's value of Safety First, and be accountable for leading and maintaining exceptional safety, quality, cost, program, sustainability and project compliance standards.

Create and design effective implementations of PMO and Project Controls framework s and strategies on assigned commissions.

Develop your expertise in PMO and Project Controls, with a growing internal and external network.

Serve as a client‑facing Project Controls professional who assists with tactical and technical advice.

Being a key interface with clients, stakeholders, and other consultants at all project stages.

Undertake the valuation of contractors monthly applications including measured works, preliminaries, materials on site, etc.

Assessment and evaluation of variations including the ability to negotiate and agree with contractor, including the preparation of full substantiating documentation.

Ensure post‑contract cost variances, change control, cost checking and valuation processes are managed effectively.

Performance reporting including KPI, Risk and Resource analysis.

Review monthly updates of spend and schedule data to achieve KPIs.

Qualifications

Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or related field (MS, MBA).

Professional membership, i.e., MRICS/RICS (or equivalent) and moving towards fellowship, or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.

Excellent communication (written, verbal and presentation) skills, along with the ability to assure service delivery and provide meaningful / actionable insights.

Knowledge of value engineering, life cycle costing, contractual frameworks relating to construction.

Experience in the Pharmaceutical or Technology sector or other similar manufacturing.

Experience in EPMO system like Unifier or Procore.

Membership of RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.

Deep property or infrastructure project management expertise.

Additional Experience

Strong commercial and financial acumen.

Leadership and management experience of large, diverse teams.

Experience of managing relationships with key senior stakeholders.

Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
