The Consolidation and Financial Reporting Team provides support and insight for the business through planning, analyzing, and reporting. We use extensive data to aid important decision making that impacts our global organization and to identify areas for improvement. Partner with the best Responsibilities
Accounting for cross‑segment transactions via cross business schedules (CBS) involving various types of intercompany transactions such as equity investments, capital infusions, dividend distributions, acquisitions, dispositions, and enforcing relevant governing policies
Leading quarterly and year‑end analysis necessary for Baker Hughes consolidated financial statement presentation and reporting requirements
Coordinating with segment controllership teams to obtain information relevant for the financial close and related analysis.
Partnering cross‑functionally with FP&A, Treasury, Tax, and other teams as needed to support the Corporate Financial Reporting team.
Collaborating with other team members to prepare the cash flow statement and other financial analysis ensuring accuracy, integrity, and alignment to relevant GAAP.
Prepare or review journal entries, perform internal controls, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
Have at least two years of public accounting experience, preferably with a Big 4 firm
Have working knowledge of the close and consolidation process
Have experience with SEC Financial Reporting
Have excellent communication, problem solving, and leadership skills.
