Outside Sales Representative - Denver Market
R.S. Hughes Co., Inc. is seeking an Outside Sales Representative for the Denver market. The successful candidate will execute RS Hughes sales strategy at a territory level, expand sales revenue, and drive new market share. The role manages the full sales process and client relationships after a sale, collaborates with territory teams, and adheres to company policies and safety protocols. Responsibilities
Develop relationships and recommend solutions based on customer needs and challenges. Grow sales revenue and market share within the assigned territory. Conduct opportunity analysis, product demonstrations, and value proposition presentations. Manage entire sales process and client management after a sale. Collaborate with sales support and other departments to fulfill client needs. Maintain accurate records of account activity in the sales database. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field (preferred). 3–5 years of sales experience (preferred). Industry background and knowledge (preferred). Skills
Passion for sales; outgoing and able to work independently or with the inside sales team. Proven sales success with a background in industrial supplies or similar. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to relate to C-suite professionals. Strong business acumen and entrepreneurial mindset. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; proficient with database tools and basic math. Compensation
Merit-based salary/bonus program with comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, life insurance, wellness, short-term disability, paid vacation, 401(k)). Total first-year target compensation: $90k–$100k.
