Interventional Specialties Technologist III
Base pay range: $64.56/hr - $80.70/hr
Position Overview Performs routine and specialized interventional radiology, cardiac catheterization, or electrophysiology procedures to produce quality images for physicians and other health care providers for the diagnosis, treatment, monitoring and prevention of injury or disease. Works independently, exercising sound judgment, and uses clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures to deliver accurate results in a timely manner. Gains confidence and cooperation from the patient, their family/support group, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication. Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care.
Education Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program Graduation from an accredited Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist program Graduation from an accredited Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist program
Certification & Licensure When working in Interventional Radiology ARRT – American Register of Radiologic Technologists CRT – Certified Radiologic Technologist RHF – Radiology Fluoroscopy BLS – Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
When working in Cardiovascular Technology ARRT – American Register of Radiologic Technologists CRT – Certified Radiologic Technologist RHF – Radiology Fluoroscopy RCIS – Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist CVT – Certified Vascular Technologist CCT – Certified Cardiographic Technician RVT – Registered Vascular Technologist BLS – Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
