What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments for internal systems and third-party applications

Drive vulnerability management plans based on risk-based classifications

Advise on risk reduction priorities related to vulnerability trends

Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory frameworks and requirements

Develop and maintain policies and procedures to support regulatory compliance and risk management

What is Required (Qualifications)

Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field

Minimum of 7+ years of relevant experience in cybersecurity risk management or assurance

Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, including HIPAA and NIST 800-53

Knowledge of security architecture, including firewalls and intrusion detection

Proficiency with enterprise compliance platforms such as OneTrust or ServiceNow GRC

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Certifications such as CISM, CRISC, or CISSP

Experience conducting vendor risk assessments and contract reviews

Background in a federally regulated environment or HHS
