Adecco’s Permanent Recruitment team is excited to partner with a
leading manufacturer in the Aerospace & Defense industry
to identify a
Quality Engineer
who thrives in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment. This is a direct hire opportunity with a strong compensation package and long-term growth potential.
As a Quality Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in supporting and advancing quality system requirements across production processes, customer requirements, and industry standards. You’ll lead problem-solving initiatives, support audit readiness, and collaborate cross-functionally to improve product quality and ensure compliance with AS9100 standards.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Lead structured problem-solving (8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa) to drive corrective actions and continuous improvement
Support internal and external audits and serve as Lead Internal Auditor
Ensure product and process compliance through control plans, metrics tracking, and quality reporting
Manage customer complaints, CARs, and other recurring QMS elements
Collaborate with operations, process planning, and engineering to optimize quality tools and measurement systems
Drive quality improvement projects across manufacturing and supply chain teams
Interpret engineering drawings/specs and apply appropriate statistical methods for quality control
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (materials science, metallurgy, chemistry preferred)
4+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of AS9100 or similar quality standards (preferred)
Hands-on experience with internal auditing, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement tools
Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with data analysis for quality metrics
Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
