Role Overview As a Resident Recovery Specialist, you are responsible for the completion of the resident journey life‑cycle. This role will serve as a vital link between our regional offices and site management, ensuring all processes are consistent, accurate, and efficient.
The Record Keeper
Complete and send resident final account statements in partnership with the Community Teams, Residents Services, and Account Settlement Team
Maintain and enforce consistent policies and procedures across all communities to ensure compliance and operational excellence
Process final account statements through OneSite Leasing and Rents, ensuring all proper documentation is accurately loaded into the system
Manage communication initiatives, effectively identifying and sharing meaningful information with other departments
The Data Driver
Send the final account statement to prior resident, verifying that all documentation is correct and up to date
Act as the primary regional contact for communities regarding move‑out requirements, providing guidance and support as needed
Engage with the communities to deliver reporting, conduct operational reviews, perform audits, provide billing updates
Exclude accounts from collections when appropriate, ensuring residents are treated fairly and in accordance with company policies and procedures

Collaborate with team members on special projects and tasks to enhance operational efficiency and support organizational goals
Adapt to changing priorities and tasks, demonstrating a willingness to take on new challenges and support team initiatives
Foster a respectful atmosphere by understanding and encouraging open dialogue while finding the best solution for the team

Qualifications
Strong 2+ years’ experience in a property management collections role
High school diploma required; some college preferred
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; ability to deal with customers in a friendly, courteous, timely, and thorough manner
High level of organizational skills, time‑management expertise, and attention to detail; ability to prioritize workload and meet tight deadlines
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
