Overview
Financial Analyst role at Holman. Holman is a family-owned, global automotive services organization focused on values and delivering the Holman Experience. The principal purpose of the position is to support the Supervisor of Financial Planning and Analysis and to work with finance, sales, marketing, and operations by providing financial analysis and business systems support. Responsibilities
The Financial Analyst will support the Supervisor of Financial Planning and Analysis and work with one or more of the following departments: finance, sales, marketing, and operations by providing financial analysis and business systems support. Focus on reporting key business metrics such as product profitability by market and customer, capital investments, operational improvements, and expense/costing analysis. Collaborate with the financial reporting team leaders to improve decision-making based on analysis of financial and other available data. Gather requirements using a variety of techniques (interviews, surveys, historical data) and establish plans to test outcomes for accuracy. Conduct special studies and ad hoc analysis to reduce costs, improve productivity, and increase profitability. Document parameters for information shared and identify training requirements for users of data. Participate in the annual budgeting process and update periodic re-projections. Manage expectations and effectively communicate to stakeholders and leaders. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. Education and/or Training
Degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Finance or equivalent work experience. Additional education, certifications, or distinctions are a plus. Proficiency in the MS Office Suite and working knowledge of query tools required. Relevant Work Experience
3+ years of professional experience in an analytical role supporting business needs. Experience collecting and analyzing raw data to identify trends and patterns. Experience reviewing and improving analytics processes, methods, and tools to increase efficiency, accuracy, and security. Compensation and Benefits
Pay: competitive wages starting in the range of 56,400.00 - 81,775.00 USD annually for full-time employees. Benefits include health, vision, dental, life and disability insurance, and 401(k) with company match; PTO, holidays, bereavement, jury duty; paid pregnancy/parental leave; and tuition reimbursement (programs may vary by country or worker type).
