Experienced C++ Generalist Software Engineer - Madden (1 year temp) Electronic Arts creates next-level entertainment experiences that inspire players and fans around the world. Madden NFL is the best-selling sports property in U.S. video game history and an immersive, simulation-based NFL experience. This position is hybrid/onsite in Orlando, FL and is a 12-month temporary role. You will report to the engineering manager for the team. Responsibilities

Develop and extend offline and online features. Write technical documents for user facing features. Plan and implement a feature's core logic and flows. Design, maintain, implement, test and debug code. Work with designers to gather requirements and propose technical solutions. Collaborate with a team of engineers under a tech lead. Qualifications

5+ years of experience in C++ software development. Able to review, test, debug, and extend existing code. Experience with software engineering principles and architectural design. Knowledge of data driven systems. Skills debugging complex applications. Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent training and professional experience. Bonuses

Knowledge developing web interfaces using JavaScript frameworks or technologies such as Flash, Action Script 3.0. Working knowledge of Photoshop. A passion for American Football. About Electronic Arts
