Architectural Project Leader
Description
Actalent is seeking a seasoned Architectural Project Leader to guide design teams and manage complex projects from concept through completion. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a passion for design excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Lead architectural teams in solving design and technical challenges across project phases.
Collaborate with project leadership to develop work plans and manage production schedules.
Create and revise detailed implementation documents that reflect design intent using advanced architectural techniques.
Conduct code analysis and ensure compliance with zoning and building regulations.
Oversee documentation to maintain alignment with quality standards and industry best practices.
Coordinate technical resolution and integration of engineering systems throughout the project lifecycle.
Prepare reports, specifications, and client presentations.
Maintain clear communication with clients and guide them through project milestones.
Collaborate with clients, agencies, consultants, and contractors to manage scope and ensure seamless coordination.
Participate in site visits, field reviews, and project meetings; document findings and decisions.
Prepare and review consultant coordination meeting minutes.
Foster a collaborative and communicative team culture.
Champion sustainable and responsible design practices.
Ensure project delivery aligns with budget and schedule expectations.
Support business development efforts by identifying opportunities, contributing to proposals, and participating in client interviews.
DQualifications
Professional degree in Architecture
Architectural Registration required
10+ years of experience preferred
Sustainable design accreditation is a plus
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and 3D modeling software preferred
Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp, and InDesign is a plus
Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite
Advanced knowledge of building systems, accessibility guidelines, and QA/QC processes
Deep understanding of building codes and their practical application
Excellent presentation, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Collaborative leadership style with a focus on relationship-building
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr.
