Dir, Catering . We are looking to add a skilled, experienced Director of Catering to our corporate dining team in New York! Mandatory requirements include high-end, corporate dining experience and a Monday-Friday schedule. The Role at a glance: We are seeking a Director of Catering to provide strategic leadership to the unit sales team, ensuring the success of revenue goals. What you'll be doing: Provide strategic leadership to the unit sales team to ensure the success of revenue goals, including guiding and supporting unit sales, event planning and execution, and personally representing the company. Build unit level sales teams by recruiting, selecting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, and providing counseling to business unit sales team members to ensure both individual and team success and growth. Develop business performance against company sales standards and metrics, including budgeted sales goals, event profitability, guest satisfaction, employee engagement, and safety and sanitation. Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and employees. Ensure the highest level of integrity and accountability in all business dealings. What we're looking for: Mandatory requirements: At least seven years’ experience in event or catering sales management. Excellent leadership and analytical skills. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Nice-to-haves: Experience in a high-volume, upscale catering, restaurant, hotel, or resort environment. Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field.
