Your Role As a PD Clinical Specialist, you take pride in representing Vantive and our Renal Care products. Your keen understanding of our portfolio of products and belief in the value and quality they provide to patients fuels your confidence. Our Renal portfolio includes innovative technologies and therapies for peritoneal dialysis (PD), and in‑center and home hemodialysis (HD) and additional dialysis services. As a PD Clinical Specialist you are accountable for maintaining and growing our peritoneal dialysis market share by providing clinical expertise & education; building relationships, problem solving, and delivering our overall Vantive value proposition!
What You’ll Be Doing
Maintaining and growing our current Peritoneal Dialysis Business
Building and maintaining long‑term relationships with key customers to develop sales opportunities
Identifying and educating relevant clinical stakeholders
Communicating with customers the benefits and features of our products
Focusing on PD therapy: providing clinical expertise, educational development, product line utilization and sales‑related support
Maintaining service levels for customers – educating on Strategic Business Initiatives
Implementing strategic plans as developed by the team
Reducing PD patient dropout
Optimizing prescription management
Reducing hospitalizations
Providing and supporting nurse training
Coordinating and collaborating on key activities with teammates to ensure continuity of strategy and prioritization
Consistently searching for and coordinating all growth & therapy expansion opportunities with teammates (considering all two therapies PD, HD)
Understanding the business, industry and marketplace, including our competition to achieve business goals
Travel – 50–60%
What You’ll Bring
Experience with Peritoneal Dialysis is a must; HD experience is a plus
Education: Active RN licensed required. Bachelor’s degree preferred, or an RN with an Associate’s degree required
Good interpersonal, communicative and oral skills required
Demonstrated ability to take a proactive approach utilizing available resources to address customer concerns and challenges
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and matrixed organization
Able to comply with customer credentialing requirements in order to gain and maintain access to assigned facilities (including health vaccinations, training documentation, drug screens, criminal and personal background checks, and other required checks)
Must have a valid driver’s license
We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Vantive, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $84,000 to $115,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for commission.
