Description Leidos, a leading defense, intelligence, and technology company, is seeking a full-time motivated Configuration Management (CM) Analyst to join our Digital Modernization Group on the Global Solutions Management - Operations II (GSM-O II) contract at Scott AFB, IL. As part of our team, you'll contribute to the operations, sustainment, and defense of the Defense Information System Network (DISN) within the DOD Information Network (DODIN), supporting the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA).

Your Opportunity We're seeking driven and capable candidates to join our GSM-O team! As a CM Analyst on our Operational Engineering team, you will directly support network operations and engineering functions, contributing to the reliability and security of critical communication infrastructure.

What You'll Do

Maintain the configuration management plan that outlines the processes, standards, and tools used for managing configurations across our diverse DoD network

Support the change management process by participating in requesting, evaluating, approving and implementing changes to the configuration items (CIs) such as servers, routers, and circuit data.

Ensure all CIs are properly labeled and identified in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB)

Receive, track and analyze change requests (CRs) in our Service Now environment, ensuring proper documentation and approvals

Monitor the progress of approved changes to ensure they are implemented correctly

Independently conduct periodic audits of CI's to verify they conform to the established baseline and standards

Identify, document, and report discrepancies between the auto-discovered configurations and documented configurations

Prepare and present audit reports to management, highlighting key findings and corrective recommendations

Contribute with development and maintenance of Service Now dashboards representing baseline CI's across DISN

Assist with process documents to ensure documentation stays current and reflect best practices

Contribute to the development and improvement of CM processes and procedures

What You'll Bring (required)

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

4+ years of experience in Configuration Management or a related IT field.

Experience using Service Now to track and manage change requests (1+ year desired)

Solid understanding of networking concepts.

Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Experience using ServiceNow to track and manage change requests

Ability to obtain a secret DoD security clearance prior to start date (Leidos sponsorship provided).

Must be a U.S Citizen.

Geographic requirement: This position is based on-site at Scott AFB, Illinois. All work must be performed on site.

What We Want (desired)

Commitment to obtaining Security+ certification (or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT II certification) within a specified timeframe.

ITIL Foundation Certification.

Solid understanding of IT principles, programming fundamentals, and networking concepts (OSI Model, Python, Ansible, Yang, HTML/XML, VBA, SQL, Unix/Linux, Bash, SED/AWK).

Experience administering and customizing ServiceNow CMDB dashboards and reports.

Experience with administering configuration management databases.

Pay Range Pay Range $72,150.00 - $130,425.00
