Development Associate

The Development Associate must be organized, efficient, and able to discern work priorities and meet deadlines. They must have the ability to thrive in an environment that requires significant self‑initiative, change, manage multiple projects at once, and collaborate among many team members both internal and external to CCO. What You Will Work On
Lead the management of the donor database including data and gift entry, processing donations, clean‑up and maintenance, reports, lists, dashboards, security and user settings. Pull reports, including weekly contribution reports for the Chief Development Officer (CDO) and the Executive Director, and the development team as needed. Generate and mail thank you letters and tax receipts for all donations to the Agency in a timely manner. Serve as liaison to donors and potential donors regarding thank you letters, tax receipts and payment processing. Provide support to the CDO to schedule meetings with key stakeholders, board members, donors and potential donors. What You Bring
Education, Certifications, and Licensure Requirements/Preferences
Bachelor's degree or equivalent lived and/or worked experience required. Experience Requirements/Preferences
2 years of previous experience in an administrative support role required, and in a non‑profit Development department preferred. Strong working knowledge of a donor data management system such as DonorPerfect or Blackbaud. Ability to use Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Background And MVR Screening
