Job Title: Architectural Project Manager – Luxury Multifamily Developments (NNJ) Company Overview: Our client is a fast-growing real estate development firm that specializes in upscale multifamily residential projects in Northern New Jersey. From boutique luxury apartments to large high-rise communities, the focus is on design excellence, premium amenities, and delivering exceptional experiences. They are seeking a talented Architectural Project Manager to join their team and lead the architectural & design execution of the next of properties. Position Summary

As Architectural Project Manager, you will bridge architecture, design and project delivery. You will be responsible for leading the architectural scope of luxury multifamily developments from schematic design through construction, ensuring design intent, schedule, budget and quality are all met. You will manage consultants, coordinate with in-house teams, contractors and developers, and leverage your architecture background plus multifamily experience to ensure premium results. Key Responsibilities

Lead architectural and design-related activities for multifamily residential projects, including luxury apartments, mixed-use and amenity-rich communities. Manage and coordinate project teams: architects, interior designers, façade consultants, structural/MEP engineers, contractors and sub-consultants. Oversee project workflows using BIM/CAD tools, review design deliverables (schematic, design development, construction documents), shop drawings, as-built drawings. Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, ADA, local permit requirements and luxury-market standards. Develop and track project schedules, architectural milestones, design review deadlines, permit submission/approval timelines. Administer and monitor project budgets, change orders, design cost control, value engineering while maintaining design integrity. Utilize the construction-management platform Procore for coordination, documentation, submittals, RFIs, approvals, project logs and progress tracking. Conduct site visits and coordinate with construction teams to ensure architectural design scope is implemented correctly, resolve design-construction issues, respond to RFIs, ensure quality control. Represent our client in design meetings with internal stakeholders, ownership, leasing/marketing teams, and external stakeholders (municipal planners, zoning boards, contractors). Maintain architectural standards for luxury finish quality, amenity design, façade systems and premium experience features. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior architects/project associates and contribute to best-practice processes across the development group. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Architecture. Architectural licensure but not mandatory. Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in architecture, with a strong focus on multifamily residential or luxury multifamily developments. Demonstrated experience managing design deliverables and construction documentation for multifamily / residential projects. Proven proficiency using Procore (or equivalent construction-project management software) for design/construction phase coordination. Strong understanding of architectural design, building systems, materials/finishes, façade construction, luxury-residential amenity design and constructability. Excellent project management skills: schedule development, budget tracking, milestone management, coordination across disciplines. Excellent interpersonal/communication skills, comfortable working with multiple stakeholders, strong negotiation and conflict-resolution capability. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced development environment and manage multiple projects concurrently. Knowledge of the local New Jersey / New York metropolitan market, zoning and permit processes. Strong technical competency in architectural software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, BIM workflows) and Microsoft Office Suite. Desired Attributes

Based in Northern New Jersey (or willing to relocate/commute to NNJ). Some travel to project sites, meetings and construction phases in the region is required. Office hours may be standard, with occasional site visits outside normal hours as project demands dictate. Compensation & Benefits
