Job Responsibilities
Lead strategic planning for service line growth, clinical pathways, and operational initiatives, establishing business priorities in collaboration with leadership and physician leaders.
Manage key performance metrics, including volumes, patient satisfaction, and access, and develop revenue enhancement strategies and growth initiatives.
Develop and implement quality improvement programs, ensuring compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards and coordinating risk minimization efforts.
Collaborate closely with department chairs, recruitment teams, and corporate compliance to promote educational programs, performance improvement activities, and a patient‑centric culture.
Oversee financial stewardship of the service line, including budget preparation, monitoring financial performance, and identifying cost‑reduction opportunities.
Lead integration of care across current and future Rush‑affiliated sites and manage managed‑care activities and faculty recruitment processes.
Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) required.
Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
Unrestricted medical license (or eligibility to obtain) in Illinois.
Minimum 8 years progressive experience in a health system or academic medical center.
Minimum 2 years of people‑management experience.
Significant exposure to inpatient and outpatient service lines preferred.
Demonstrated marketing capability, analytical skills, and business acumen.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint).
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with physician leaders.
Capability to manage multiple concurrent projects independently and as part of a team.
Pay Range: $300,000 - $400,000
Rush offers competitive total compensation that includes base pay, benefits, and incentive programs. Additional benefits include sign‑on and retention bonuses, relocation allowances, and a comprehensive benefits package.
