Responsibilities
Perform routine to complex radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations using fixed and portable imaging equipment in General Diagnostic Radiology.
Prepare and position patients, following radiologist protocols, and enter complex data into the computer system.
Review, verify, and evaluate images and radiographs to ensure technical quality and image quality.
Ensure compliance with related policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
Act as a diagnostic subject‑matter expert and assist other technologists as needed.
Demonstrate effective communication and conflict‑resolution techniques with patients, coworkers, physicians, and other health‑care members.
Perform any other duties assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Recent graduate of a school of radiologic technology.
California Radiology Technologist of Radiography (CRT‑R).
California Radiology Technologist of Fluoroscopy (CRT‑F) obtained within six (6) months of hire; required for senior position.
Registered Technologist for Radiography issued by ARRT (R.T(R)(ARRT)).
BART or BLS at time of hire with a commitment to obtain BART within six (6) months of hire.
Less than 18 months of experience in a similar role or new graduate (Rad Tech) OR more than 18 months of experience (Sr. Rad Tech).
Possess the skills, knowledge, and abilities essential for successful performance of the duties assigned to the position.
Preferred Qualifications
Two (2) years of experience in a similar role and setting.
Demonstrated hospital experience.
Special Conditions
Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, on‑call, and some overtime if necessary for unexpected staffing issues.
Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre‑employment physical.
Compensation Annual Full Pay Range: $102,667 - $127,681 (prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $49.17 - $61.15
