IT Certified Professional - Intermediate. Oversee complex programs that drive impactful mission outcomes for our customers. As an IT Certified Professional - Intermediate, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of INSCOM. Responsibilities

Under general supervision, provides second-tier support to end-users for PC, server, mainframe applications, and hardware Responsible for moderately complex tasks typically relating to network monitoring, operations, installation or maintenance. Handles routine network activities and identifies and resolves routine network problems. Handles problems that the first-tier of help desk support is unable to resolve. Interacts with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and/or identify and correct core problem. Simulates or recreates user problems to resolve operating difficulties. Recommends systems modifications to reduce user problems. Maintains currency and high level of technical skill in field of expertise. Escalates more complex problems to Senior Level. Provides first contact and incident resolution to customers with hardware, software, and application problems, including telephone support and electronically submitted requests. Performs systems administration of desktop systems connected to local and wide area networks. Monitors systems/networks in real time NOSC environment and initiates fix actions or problem escalation to Tier II/Tier III admins. Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems. Manages IT system infrastructure and related processes. Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network/print devices, and mobile devices. Delivers polite and friendly customer service; attempts to resolve incidents on first contact or at Tier I/II and escalates to Tier III when required. Documents incident status and solutions in incident database tools. Maintains working knowledge of computers, printers, laptops, and common Windows applications. Works through Tier I issues with telephone assistance and provides answers to common questions as part of a self-help capability. Possesses comprehensive knowledge of computer troubleshooting, desktop operating systems, and applications. What You’ll Need To Succeed

Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science Experience: 5+ years related experience Certification: IAT II 8570/8140 Baseline Certification Security+ or equivalent Technical skills: Desktop system management/maintenance responsibilities including account monitoring, account creation, security, OS installation, and local area system administration Security clearance level: TS SCI US citizenship required Role requirements: Onsite location Fort Huachuca Travel: Up to 10% Company Information

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $29.84 - $40.38. Salary will be set based on experience, location, and contractual requirements and could fall outside this range.
