Leads and optimizes the company’s AP operations, managing a team and ensuring compliance with policies, accounting standards, and regulations. Provides strategic oversight of AP functions, enhances systems and processes, and ensures accurate, timely recording and payment of liabilities. A key focus is driving successful implementation of critical AP projects to improve efficiency, streamline workflows, and reduce manual effort. Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Accounts Payable specialists; set performance goals, provide regular feedback, and support professional development; ensure the AP team is aligned with organizational objectives. Process Optimization & Efficiency: Support AP project implementations to automate and streamline AP processes, reduce manual data entry, and increase invoice accuracy; collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Procurement, Finance) and third-party consultants for smooth integration of key AP systems; manage change management efforts including user training and process changes to ensure adoption. Vendor Relationship Management: Oversee vendor communications, resolve disputes, ensure timely payment of invoices, and build strong relationships to negotiate favorable terms and resolve discrepancies promptly. Financial Reporting & Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely recording of AP transactions with proper coding to the general ledger; oversee month-end and year-end close processes related to AP and prepare necessary reports; ensure compliance with policies, accounting standards, and legal requirements including tax regulations. Audit & Internal Controls: Support internal and external audits with documentation and responses; ensure robust internal controls to safeguard assets and prevent fraud. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support: Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, and Treasury to ensure smooth workflows; provide financial analysis and reporting. Education
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field Experience
10+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or Finance, with at least 5 years in a managerial role Experience with AP automation tools, particularly Ariba, and familiarity with end-to-end AP automation processes What We Offer

The estimated annual base salary for this position ranges from
$145,000 to $165,000 . Individual pay is based on location, skills, experience, and other relevant factors. Incentives:
