Job Summary The Director of Service Lines provides results-oriented leadership for designated clinical service lines within a public, integrated health system. This role helps inform strategy and ensures strategic alignment with institutional goals in patient care, education, and research, while driving measurable improvements in quality, access, and financial performance. Operating within a highly matrixed environment, the Director collaborates across departments and disciplines, engaging faculty and clinical leaders to integrate services across the healthcare continuum. Exceptional communication skills and a strong grasp of healthcare finance are essential.
Minimum Qualifications
Degrees:
Masters: MHA, MPH, or MBA
Bachelors
Licenses & Certification:
FACHE (Preferred)
Work Experience:
Seven (7) Years of Experience: In healthcare, preferably operations.
Management Experience:
Five (5) Years of Experience: Progressive leadership in healthcare operations or service line management. Preferably in an academic medical center.
Communication Skills:
Above Average Verbal Communication (Heavy Public Contact)
