Senior Partnership Manager—Cloud Alliances – 100% Remote

Role Summary Join a small, tight-knit team on the leading edge of Kubernetes optimization as a Senior Partnership Manager. As the second member of our Business Development team and one of our first 30 employees, you'll work with our Head of Business Development and company leaders to form key relationships and craft and launch our technology partnership program. Ideal candidates will be highly motivated, technologically savvy, and comfortable building strategic engagements and managing relationships with cloud providers, software companies, and channel partners across the Kubernetes ecosystem.
What you'll be doing
Own a portfolio of partnerships end-to-end: sourcing, qualifying, and following up with prospective partners, developing and delivering strategic proposals, negotiating commercial agreements, and managing the ongoing partner relationship.
Help us expand our landscape of strategic partners to explore new value propositions and additional partnership opportunities
Lead technical and non-technical demos to a variety of audiences.
Articulate the value of integrating our cost-optimization insights with other technology platforms.
Assist in developing repeatable partnership models and pipelines.
Represent the company in webinars, speaking engagements, and conferences.
Write blog posts, documentation, and guest articles about partnership topics.
Requirements
3+ years of partner sales and/or alliance development in the software/technology industry.
Ex-Google, Ex-AWS, Ex-Microsoft experience preferred.
Demonstrated success building relationships across the cloud software ecosystem (experience with Kubernetes preferred).
Comfort managing multiple stakeholders across teams, including marketing, sales, product, and engineering.
Ability to engage and influence senior executives.
Independence, self-motivation, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative environment.
Top notch organization, presentation, listening/observation, and communication skills—verbal, written, and visual.
Passion and curiosity about software infrastructure, and knowledge of how it powers the world's applications and enables development teams.
