Line Cook

to join our team in providing exceptional service and warm hospitality.

We are a private café serving breakfast, lunch, and après to our owners and renters. We’re seeking dependable, motivated team members who take pride in their work and enjoy being part of a small, supportive kitchen. We’re happy to train the right person who brings a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.

What You’ll Do

Prepare and cook menu items for breakfast, lunch, and après service, following established recipes and standards.

Run the line independently during slower periods and work efficiently during busier rushes.

Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation throughout service.

Assist with dishwashing and general kitchen cleaning as part of a shared team responsibility.

Follow food safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a clean and safe environment.

Communicate clearly and work cooperatively with front-of-house and kitchen team members.

Take initiative to stay productive during slower times—cleaning, restocking, or light prep work.

Pay Rate $18-$20/hour DOE plus share of service charge

Minimum Requirements

Basic cooking techniques: sautéing, grilling, toasting, frying, and assembling menu items.

Recipe execution: following standardized recipes, portion sizes, and plating guidelines.

Time management: coordinating multiple orders and maintaining flow on a single-person line.

Food safety and sanitation: proper handwashing, temperature control, labeling, and storage procedures.

Knife handling: safe and efficient cutting, dicing, and slicing.

Cleaning and organization: maintaining a tidy station and assisting with end-of-shift cleaning duties.
