Job Summary The Customer Experience Specialist is located in a call center environment supporting the Consumer Direct Lending team. In this role you will serve as the primary point of contact for consumers, guiding them through the loan origination process after discussions with licensed loan officers.

Key Responsibilities

Act as a customer success advocate within a fast‑paced call center.

Respond promptly to high‑volume inbound calls or texts from customers.

Perform routine data entry and validate consumer information.

Manage routine communication through calls, emails, and/or chat with consumers, PennyMac employees, and authorized third parties.

Collaborate with internal departments to expedite loan processing and resolve customer issues.

Maintain alignment with company culture and values in daily tasks.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills

Strong customer service and support capabilities.

Experience handling both inbound and outbound calls.

Familiarity with the mortgage and financial services industry.

Proficiency in loan servicing and document handling.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year recent experience in a mortgage contact center (2022‑2025 preferred).

Comfortable managing a high volume of calls.

Reliable transportation; must live within ~20 minutes of the office.

Willingness to work fully on‑site and commit to consistent attendance.

Detail‑oriented with a professional demeanor.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00–$23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
