Immediate opening for a SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver in Pearl River, LA. Join a team that values transparency and offers detailed pay and route information upfront.
Pay & Weekly Compensation
Solo miles: $0.62 per mile to $1.35 per mile based on trip length (1200-1700 miles per week)
Solo stops: $24.00 per stop (2-4 stops per day)
Per diem: $50.00 per night (1 night per week, if applicable)
Safety bonus: $300 four times a year, every quarter
Paid training included
Start time: Dispatch between 9:00 PM‑3:00 AM (weekly 6‑day work week, 1 full day off)
Weekly pay roughly $1,400 or more
Route & Equipment
500‑mile radius of Pearl River, LA
Day Cab tractor, 53' reefer trailer
Manual pallet jack, touch‑grocery freight with unloading assistance at stores
Route: Regional – home daily except one possible layover per week

Requirements
Minimum 21 years of age
Pass Ryder drug test, background/MV check (last 3 years), DOT physical, Ryder road test
Class A CDL with appropriate endorsements
Tractor‑trailer driving experience:
9 months in past 3 years, or 2 years in past 5 years, or 5 years in past 10 years
Ability to follow written or oral instructions and read/interpret laws and regulations
Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines
Load/unload freight or assist in loading/unloading as required by customer
Maintain accurate records and logs
Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards
Perform other duties as assigned
