Koch Engineered Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Senior Accountant to join our consolidations team in Wichita, KS. This role is ideal for someone with expertise in accounting, legal entity financial reporting, audit processes, and consolidations. You will play a critical role driving accuracy and compliance across multiple legal entities, opportunities to assist in complex accounting transactions, leading KES close, and collaborating with audit and finance teams.
Our Team You’ll join the KES Consolidations group, a high-performing team that values collaboration, work-life balance, and has a continuous-improvement mindset. We leverage various ERP and consolidation tools and are constantly looking for new ways to streamline reporting and improve financial statement accuracy.
What You Will Do
Lead and evaluate the monthly close consolidation efforts.
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual Koch reporting.
Collaborate with the KES Business Groups to improve close processes.
Partner with business and capability teams to assess and communicate impactful items.
Own, organize, and automate requests from the government.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
Experience analyzing financial statements and identifying key drivers (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow etc.).
Experience collaborating with other team members and / or stakeholders to develop and communicate points of view.
Experience prioritizing multiple responsibilities and driving initiative forward.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite or Office 365, including Excel skills.
What Will Put You Ahead
Experience in the monthly close and / or year-end audit process for multinational business.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP accounting and reporting.
Experience using OneStream or other consolidation reporting tools.
Process improvement / process transformation / process implementation experience.
