Topsarge Business Solutions, a Temple, Texas-based firm, is seeking two (2) experienced on-site Senior Budget Analysts supporting DHS Federal Protective Service Region 4's financial management, assisting with analysis, reconciliation, and reporting of accounting functions within the Federal Financial Management System (FFMS). This position plays a crucial role in enhancing budget operations, applying accounting principles, and ensuring compliance with federal financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze, reconcile, and reclassify accounting data and expenditures.
Review funding estimates and assist in verifying cost consistency across PSO contracts.
Track expenditure and disbursement of funds, preparing reports for audits and reprogramming actions.
Support consolidation of funding requests and validation of prior year SWA accounts.
Retrieve and analyze financial data to support management decisions.
Communicate financial information clearly to leadership and program offices.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (minimum 24 credit hours in finance/accounting).
Minimum 4 years in federal financial management, including policy, systems, and analysis.
Desired Skills
Strong Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint proficiency.
Analytical and presentation skills.
Ability to interpret financial data and federal regulations.
Effective communication and documentation ability.

Security Clearance: Public Trust or as required by DHS.
