Key job responsibilities Technical Leadership

Drive technical vision and architecture for Prime Video's localization and accessibility platforms

Lead development of AI/ML‑powered content processing systems at global scale

Make strategic build‑vs‑buy decisions balancing cost, scalability, and maintenance

Design and implement robust monitoring and quality control systems

People Leadership

Build and mentor a high‑performing engineering team

Drive hiring, career development, and foster an inclusive team culture

Manage team resources and delivery commitments

Champion Amazon's Leadership Principles

Innovation & Execution

Oversee development of automated solutions for content localization and accessibility

Lead integration of GenAI technologies into production workflows

Partner with Product and Business teams to define and execute strategy

Drive continuous improvement in processing efficiency and quality

Basic Qualifications

7+ years of engineering experience

3+ years of engineering team management experience

8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi‑tier web services

Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations

Experience partnering with product or program management teams

Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy

Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers
