As a Locum CRNA, you will be pivotal in providing high-quality anesthesia care to patients in various clinical settings. This role will allow you to collaborate closely with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures.
Responsibilities
Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during surgical procedures
Collaborate with surgeons and medical staff to ensure optimal patient care
Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and evaluate patients' medical histories
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Respond to emergencies and provide critical care as needed
Stay updated on advancements in anesthesia techniques and practices
Educate patients and families about anesthesia processes and safety
Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
Active CRNA certification and licensure
Strong foundational knowledge of anesthesiology principles
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
Basic computer skills for documentation and record-keeping
Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a clinical setting
Previous clinical experience or internship in anesthesiology is a plus
Schedule: Monday-Friday (7a-7p or 9a-9p) or Saturday & Sunday (7a-5:30p)
No call requirement
Setting: MOR or procedural suite
MOR Cases: General, neuro, healthy peds, trauma, urology, ortho
Procedural Suite Cases:GI, EP, IR, MRI
Supervision: 1:3 in MOR, 1:3 or 1:4 in procedural suites
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
