Position Location: Retail Location Department: D2C Reports To: Store Leader Job Classification: On-site FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Associate Responsibilities
Cultivate an environment of genuine consumer connection by delivering exceptional consumer experiences that are engaging, efficient, and personalized. Support the Store Leader and Assistant Store Leader with telling the Carhartt story at the retail store level by executing consumer experience program initiatives, Visual Merchandising and Visual Standards. Support Associate Engagement by fostering a positive, collaborative team environment where associates can bring their best to work each day. Support training, coaching and feedback of associates to ensure positive growth. Support the Store Leader and Assistant Store Leader with timely execution of store controls and operating standards while contributing to profitability and a safe work environment. Communicate operations data, product information, trends, needs, local competition, and events to Store Leader and Assistant Store Leader. Support revenue-building strategies set by Corporate and Store Leader and monitor performance metrics to help achieve or exceed store goals. Assist with external partnerships and event promotions for the benefit of the store. Support execution of community engagement events and grow brand awareness in the local community. Assist with recruiting and identifying potential talent for all positions. Ownership of individual development and professional growth. Required Education
HS Diploma or GED required; College degree preferred. Required Skills And Experience
1 year of supervisory experience in a retail environment preferred. Sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory control, and loss prevention. Knowledge in staffing, coaching, counseling, training and development. Excellent organization, prioritization and communication skills. Exceptional team and collaboration skills. PC skills: POS Systems and Microsoft Office. Must be available weekends. Physical Requirements And Working Conditions
Typical retail environment; store setting. Extended periods of standing; typing on a computer is required. Moderate lifting (30-40 lbs). Retail hours; national travel up to 5%. This position has an on-site location; associate will work on-site for all work-related activities. Carhartt is a tobacco-free workplace.
