Locum Tenens Physician Assistant - Cardiovascular/cardiothoracic Surgery - $115-

Job Description CT Assist is seeking a Physician Assistant Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery for a locum tenens assignment in Lexington, Kentucky. The assignment begins in February 2026 and is expected to last 13 weeks with 40 hours per week.

Key responsibilities include:

First assist during cardiothoracic surgical procedures

Rounding, endoscopic vein harvest (EVH) and other tasks

Night and weekend call

Work in CVOR, CVICU, ICU, CTICU, and CCU settings

Requirements

Specialty: Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery

Discipline: Physician Assistant

Experience with central line, arterial line, chest tube, ICU procedures, etc.

Proficiency with Epic EMR

Certification by The Joint Commission
