Quality Control Engineer

to oversee mix designs, testing protocols, and field performance to ensure our products and processes meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. Development of new mix designs to meet customer’s needs Optimization of current mixes to reduce over-design and develop a better product for end users Develop, implement, and monitor quality control standards for ready-mix concrete production Review, approve, and maintain mix designs in compliance with local, state and federal specifications Conduct and supervise field and laboratory testing of concrete and raw materials Provide technical support to operations, sales and project teams regarding concrete performance and application Ensure compliance with ASTM, ACI, DOT and other applicable standards and regulations Investigate and resolve quality-related issues, including product failures, customer complaints, or specifications deviations Prepare and maintain quality documentation, reports and certifications Collaborate with production staff to maintain consistency in batching, delivery and application Train and mentor quality control technicians and field personnel Act as the company’s technical liaison with clients, contracts, engineers and regulatory bodies What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or related field (preferred) Master’s in Civil Engineering or related field (preferred) Professional Engineer (PE) license (preferred) 5+ years of experience in civil engineering, QC, or ready-mix production (preferred) Strong knowledge of concrete mix design, testing procedures, and material science Familiarity with ACI, ASTM, DOT specs Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills Experience working in plant, field, and lab environments Why It Matters
