We are searching for a Manager, Social Media (YT) to work on our Disney Branded Television films and series. A successful candidate will be responsible for developing YT content strategy for our Disney Branded shows and films. You will get to work closely with the YT Creative Director, the Social Media Title Marketing and audience team as well as the broader marketing organization.
Our ideal candidate will have:
5+ years of social media marketing experience
Team-first mentality
Active social media presence across platforms
Creative, proactive and independent thinking
Ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines
Strong creative writing skills
Effective communication skills in both verbal and written form
Ability to build and manage relationships
Extreme attention to detail
Ability to learn new systems quickly
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Keynote, and Google Drive suite.
Knowledge of social media landscape
Knowledge of children's programming
Experience with social media content management systems
Proficiency in handling different video production, graphic, music and still imagery file types, and experience with large-file sharing programs.
Some production and/or post-production experience is preferred.
Responsibilities:
Partner closely with the Creative Director to support the strategy, ideation and production of high impact social a/v - for paid and organic title and brand assets
Communicate the strategy and/or provide creative guidance on the production and edit of social assets
Advise on, communicate and implement best social media practices and cultural landscape as it pertains to the title. Evolve tactics as new social trends and video styles emerge
Partnering with the broader marketing for onset social capture, live social media event coverage, digital activations, digital paid media creative, influencer activations etc.
Work closely with marketing to create high impact assets around title debuts - announcements, paid social, press etc.
Manage creative development of social content through the pipeline including giving creative direction and notes, along with securing final approvals and sign-off with the title and audience leads
Management and coordination of files and creative assets
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree
The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $93,200 to $128,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
