We’re hiring a Staff Accountant to join our team at Flynn Hospitality’s corporate offices in Las Colinas, TX. If you’re passionate about hospitality, driven by results, and ready to lead with purpose — we want to meet you.
What You’ll Do As a key member of the
Corporate Finance & Accounting team , you will support full-cycle accounting and financial operations across multiple hotel entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic alignment with company goals.
Core Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and compliant
financial records , including general ledger management, reconciliations, and journal entries.
Prepare and analyze
financial statements
(balance sheet, income statement, cash flow) and support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
Assist with
budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
to support financial planning and decision-making.
Ensure adherence to
GAAP , internal controls, and company accounting policies.
Reconcile
bank and credit card statements
and review property-level financials for accuracy and consistency with brand and ownership standards.
Support
audit preparation
and maintain documentation and schedules for audits, budgets, and financial reporting.
Collaborate with
property teams and leadership
to provide timely reporting, resolve accounting inquiries, and strengthen internal processes.
Contribute to
accounts payable, receivable, treasury, tax, payroll, and intercompany transactions
as needed.
Create and maintain
financial presentations and visual reports
(charts, graphs, tables) for leadership and key stakeholders.
Participate in
special projects and process improvement initiatives
as the company continues to grow.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
1–3 years of relevant accounting experience; hospitality or multi-entity experience preferred.
Working knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with, Sage Intacct, Profitsword, and is a plus.
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
A team player with a proactive mindset and a passion for learning.
