Specialty Anesthesiology

Contract Details Start Date: 9/1 End Date: 3-6 month contract Length of Assignment: 3 months Credentialing Timeframe: 2 months

Work Schedule No call Shift Hours: Flexible start and stop times 24/7 Shift Types: 12’s, 16’s, 18’s and 24’s

Physician’s start at 7am (8am on Wednesdays). If they are doing an in house call shift it is possible they could start at 1600, but for a normal clinical day it is 7a and 8a.

Team Overview The anesthesia team conducts an average of 60,000 anesthetics per year across all sites. The department comprises 160 clinical providers with diverse cultural backgrounds, delivering advanced perioperative care across seven clinical sites: three hospitals, two ambulatory surgery centers and two GI centers.

Procedures Case mix varies from site to site but can include general, minimally invasive, bariatric, orthopedic (including trauma, spine and joint replacement), thoracic, vascular, neurosurgical, ENT, hepatobiliary, urology, IVF and GYN.

License Needed MA active license preferred – Open to licensing with a CLEAN background only!

Certifications Needed CRNA’s must be BC and CRNA certification required ANE must be BC

Qualification & Experience For CRNAs:

CRNA’s are integrated members of the Anesthesia Care team, with exposure to a broad case load in multiple surgical specialties including transplant, ENT, trauma neurosurgery, hearts, and orthopedics.

Anesthesiologists specializing in the following specialties will be considered: Pediatric - Adult, OB, Liver Transplant, Academic, Regional, Cardiac, Community Practice, Critical Care, and General Practice.
