Our client, a major bank in New York City, is looking for
Cloud Architect - Compliance Screening Platform . This is a permanent position with a competitive compensation package (base range 160-175K), excellent benefits, and target bonus. Must be 2/3 days per week in the New York City Office. Role
Cloud Architect - Modernization Engineer will serve as a hands-on technology leader focused on the implementation, optimization, and integration of advanced compliance screening platforms. You will work with FIRCO, Prime Compliance Manager, and Quantexa, and require a proactive approach to modernizing legacy systems into agile, cloud-native solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that screening technologies are robust, scalable, and aligned with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities
Lead hands-on implementation and optimization of compliance screening platforms including FIRCO, Prime Compliance Manager, and Quantexa Collaborate with architecture teams to design scalable cloud-native solutions for screening technologies Develop and execute integration strategies across partner systems and data platforms Ensure screening platforms meet AML, KYC, and sanctions compliance requirements Work with Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams to align technology capabilities with regulatory needs Provide technical leadership in system upgrades, API integrations, and data pipeline enhancements Mentor engineering teams on best practices in screening technology deployment Support vendor evaluations and contribute to platform selection decisions Required Qualifications
10+ years of hands-on cloud architecture experience Compliance Screening platforms are a plus (FIRCO, Prime Compliance Manager, and Quantexa) Proven expertise in cloud platforms (Azure strongly preferred) and hybrid deployment models Strong programming and scripting skills for system integration and automation Experience with data platforms such as DataBricks and Snowflake Deep understanding of financial services compliance requirements Excellent problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications
