GA-EMS offers modular and scalable satellite platforms backed with a history of operational flight experience to support defense, civil, commercial, and academic mission requirements. Our Space Systems team is looking to add a Test Automation Engineer to support small satellite development programs. In this role, youll be responsible for ensuring the successful integration and verification of GA-EMS developed SV constellations with their associated ground and launch systems. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Test Automation Engineer responsible with: Plan, implement, test, document, and maintain solutions for the automated testing of satellites, subsystems, and components. Synthesize program requirements into test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints. Develop and define test cases, automated test scripts (i.e. Python), perform debugging, and support script execution on space vehicles. Support development of system and segment verification scenarios, and support test plan and procedure development to ensure system design is fully verified. Coordinate program testing activities with stakeholders. Support review and analyze of telemetry and test data, ensuring generated data accurately verifies space vehicle functionality and meets space vehicle requirements. Support discrepancy reports and integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems.

Collaborate with all levels of program and engineering staff on design, integration and verification matters and support other teams/disciplines as necessary. Establish collaborative work relationships with peers to ensure synergy across space, ground, and launch. Utilize traditional and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approaches lead and contribute to the development all SE work products which may include:

Typically requires a bachelors degree, masters degree or PhD in engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution and progressive engineering experience as follows; nine or more years of experience with a bachelors degree, seven or more years of experience with a masters degree, or four or more years with a PhD. May substitute equivalent engineering experience in lieu of education. Hands?on experience with ATLO, including environmental testing, is preferred. Experience with software testing or automated testing is preferred. Familiarity with the following tools is preferred: Cameo or Magic Draw, DOORS, and Atlassian (JIRA, Confluence). Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are required to enable effective leadership and collaboration with other departments, all levels of management, professional and support staff, customers, potential customers, and government representatives. Must be customer?focused, able to work independently or in a team environment, and able to work extended hours and/or weekends as required, including during test events, as well as travel when necessary. Must have active TS clearance and be able to obtain and maintain TS/SCI security clearance.

Salary:
