Job Details
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic professional to join our compliance team as a Compliance Internal Auditor. This role is ideal for someone with strong auditing and advisory experience in the financial services sector who thrives in a dynamic, high-performance environment.
What You’ll Do
Assist in designing and implementing a comprehensive internal audit program aligned with enterprise risk priorities. Support the development of annual audit plans and coordinate with business compliance teams to scope reviews. Conduct audits and reviews of business processes and control environments, both independently and with third-party support. Prepare testing matrices, document requests, process flows, and written findings. Track and ensure resolution of audit findings and partner with compliance teams to strengthen testing frameworks. Present findings and evaluations to senior compliance leadership and business stakeholders. Maintain and update internal audit procedures and calendars.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a strong academic record. 2+ years of experience in internal or external audit, risk assurance, or compliance within financial services or a reputable auditing firm. Working knowledge of laws and regulations applicable to investment advisors. Strong understanding of auditing standards, enterprise controls, and risk management practices. CPA, CFA, CIA, or similar certification is a plus. Familiarity with enterprise technologies and emerging tools such as generative AI is a plus. Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
