Job Details
Position overview: The Controller is responsible for managing the accounting department personnel for two main entities, as well as overseeing the general ledger, budgeting, and accounting operations for our organization.
Day to day responsibilities: Oversee full cycle accounting operations Maintain timely and accurate month end close Manage, develop, and train accounting department Manage budgeting & forecasting Ensure financial reporting is timely and accurate Oversight of Capex, cash flow, and credit authorization Manager AP and AR processes Cost accounting process control Perform year-end audit preparation Participate in leadership meetings, providing insight into company financials Ad hoc reporting and duties as needed Regular (25%) travel
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field Manufacturing industry experience Cost accounting experience 5+ years accounting leadership experience 10+ years accounting experience Budgeting & forecasting On site full time 20% travel
Preferred Qualifications: CPA MBA
