We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Project Manager Electrical Estimator to join our team in the construction industry. This role will be integral to the success of our projects, and will require a keen eye for detail, exceptional organizational skills, and a deep understanding of the construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for estimating electrical work, preparing bids, managing suppliers, tracking costs, and overseeing the electrical aspects of our construction projects. Job Details

Responsibilities:

Develop comprehensive, detailed project plans and estimates for electrical work in commercial and marina construction projects. Prepare and submit competitive bids, ensuring all aspects of the project are accounted for and accurately priced. Manage relationships with suppliers, including negotiating pricing, coordinating deliveries, and resolving any issues that arise. Track project costs, ensuring that expenses are recorded accurately and stay within budget. Utilize Procore Construction Software to manage projects, track progress, and communicate with team members. Collaborate with project teams to ensure that electrical work is completed on time and to specifications. Review and comprehend blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate estimating and project execution. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to electrical work in the construction industry.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimating, particularly in electrical work. Proven experience in bid preparation and supplier management. Solid understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices. Proficiency in using Procore Construction Software or similar project management software. Knowledge of marina and commercial electrical systems. Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills. Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred. Certification as a Professional Estimator or similar is an advantage.
