We are seeking a Part-Time Contract Dentist (Pediatric or General) to help improve the health and lives of students from disadvantaged backgrounds. MHS is one of the worlds leading private schools, offering cost-free education and housing to over 2,200 students from pre-K through 12th grade. Thanks to the enduring legacy of Milton and Catherine Hershey, the school is fully endowed and expanding to serve even more students in the years ahead. Location: Hershey, PA | Contract Position Work schedule: at least 2 days per week. As a member of our dental team, youll work in one of three on-campus clinics equipped with: Dentrix Enterprise Dental Software
Digital X-ray sensors
Intraoral cameras
Advanced tools including lasers and nitrous oxide/oxygen systems (in select clinics)
Youll provide comprehensive dental care including: Caries risk assessments Routine exams and preventive treatments Restorative procedures Emergency care and specialty referrals Positive, student-centered interactions with children and their families At MHS, every staff member is a role model. Minimum 3 years of experience in pediatric or general dentistry, including:
Exams, restorations, prosthodontics (crowns, bridges, implants, partials)
Limited root canal therapy and simple extractions
Emergency care and specialty referrals
Current dental license, in good standing
DEA registration and professional liability coverage
Anesthesia license (if administering nitrous oxide)
Specialized certifications (e.g., implant, laser)
CPR/AED Healthcare Provider certification
