Almaden, CA & Novato, CA - Associate Optometrist - Costco Eyes On Eyecare is seeking an Associate Optometrist to join our team in Almaden, CA and/or Novato, CA. We use state‑of‑the‑art technology including the Marco digital refracting system and easy‑to‑use electronic records. Our office is equipped with OPTOS, NCT, and well‑trained staff to provide support to all clinicians. Trainees will have the opportunity to practice optometry with full autonomy in a supportive environment that values work‑life balance. About Our Practice Great opportunity for an Associate Optometrist to join our team. We utilize state‑of‑the‑art technology and provide pre‑testing support, full autonomy, excellent staff support, and a focus on quality of life. Schedule Monday – Thursday, occasional Saturdays 6–8 hour shift, no evenings Full‑time Start date: 04/14/2025 Compensation Production bonus eligible immediately upon hire – very busy office with plenty of patients Commission pay, bonus opportunities, hourly pay (per diem plus bonus) Competitive base pay (W2) based on experience Benefits Employee discount Flexible schedule Production bonus eligibility Job Duties & Responsibilities Perform comprehensive eye exams Diagnose and assist in the treatment of ocular disease Prescribe corrective lenses Provide pre‑ and post‑operative care to surgical patients Promote healthy vision by counseling and educating patients Maintain detailed patient records regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and progress Handle eye care emergencies Job Requirements & Qualifications Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree Valid state license to practice optometry Ability to communicate with a wide range of patient personalities Excellent verbal and written communication skills A strong sense of workplace professionalism and personal ethics Customer‑service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills Apply here!
