Job Description

Skilled MIG Welders Wanted – Join a Growing Team in Wathena, KS!

Are you a skilled MIG welder who takes pride in precision and craftsmanship? Join a respected local team where your experience and dedication are valued. We’re looking for reliable welders ready to put their skills to work in a full-time, long-term opportunity.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform MIG welding using metal core wire (.045”) with GMAW techniques
• Pass an AWS 1-G weld test on 3/8” material with full penetration welds
• Operate grinders, drills, torches, and other fabrication tools
• Read and interpret blueprints accurately
• Maintain consistent safety, quality, and attendance standards

What You’ll Bring:

• Minimum 2 years of MIG welding experience within the last 5 years (no entry-level training)
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Must have your own welding hood and gloves for testing
• Physically capable of lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods

Schedule:

• Monday–Thursday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Friday: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Overtime available as needed
