Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and specification of lighting systems
• Normal and emergency power distribution systems (medium and low voltage)
• Low voltage communications systems (e.g. data, alarm, security, A/V)
• Fire alarm systems
• Work with a variety of project types (higher education, health care, civic, advanced manufacturing)
• Create and maintain customer relationships
• Participate in projects through construction
• Occasional travel

Qualifications

• Engineering License (PE)
• Minimum of four years of experience in electrical engineering
• Working knowledge of Revit or AutoCAD is important
• Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
• Experience with other electrical design software such as Visual Lighting, AGI32, and SKM Power Tools or RCDD certification by BICSI are desirable
