Our Licensed Practical Nurses enjoy some notable benefits: $30/hr - $36/hr 11p - 7a, Shift will vary (WEEKEND WORK REQUIRED) Online training, growth and ability to earn CEUs Tuition discounts through Rasmussen University Weekly Pay As a Licensed Practical Nurse, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do: Must have knowledge and experience, working with Trach patients. Must be able to work with total care patients Provide compassionate care to patients with disabilities Provide assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and transfers. Do assessments as needed Administer medication and ensure medication management is handled efficiently We work closely with healthcare providers to coordinate any necessary medical care. Occasionally train new team members. Other duties as assigned. A few must-haves for our Licensed Practical Nurses: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program and active LPN license in GA Minimum of 1 full year experience as an LPN. Experience with patients with disabilities preferred but not required. CPR & First Aid certification (MUST BE FROM AN IN-PERSON CLASS. WE NO LONGER ACCEPT ANY ONLINE CERTIFICATIONS) Knowledge of state and federal home health regulations Clinical proficiency in nursing, strong communication skills and compassion Why Work for Interim HealthCare?
