Data Center Operations Specialist
, where your expertise will ensure the reliability and performance of our critical infrastructure.
What You’ll Do
As the backbone of our computer operations, you’ll:
Monitor system health and performance, proactively resolving issues to maintain uptime.
Automate routine tasks using scripting languages like Python or PowerShell.
Lead incident management efforts and collaborate across teams to restore services quickly.
Uphold data center security and compliance standards.
Maintain clear documentation of procedures, configurations, and resolutions.
Stay ahead of the curve with continuous learning in cloud technologies and monitoring tools.
Partner with IT Help Desk, system admins, and business units to meet SLAs and plan capacity.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a mature, conscientious professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment:
Experience:
4–6 years in data center operations, with proven leadership in team settings.
Education:
Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field preferred; Associate’s degree with relevant experience considered.
Skills:
Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis
Advanced scripting and automation
Familiarity with Windows Server, Linux, virtualization, and cloud infrastructure
Excellent customer service and communication
Ability to follow procedures and escalate appropriately

Pay Philosophy
: The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by several factors including skills, experience, education, certifications, and location. Some roles at MAPFRE are eligible for commission and/or bonus earnings, in addition to salary, calculated based upon factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
Salary Range $52k - $67k
