Shift: 10hrs x 4/week, 0630am - 5pm, Scheduled day off at the needs of the department, but special requests considered if possible. ** SCHEDULED LATE A FEW TIMES PER MONTH Is on-call REQ? (Y/N) No Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Possibility of floating within Periop facility Open to accommodating block schedule? (Y/N) per manager's discretion Certs REQ: SC or Compact License, BLS, **radiation badge needs to be provided by parent company

Years of experience REQ: 1 Certs REQ: BLS, **radiation badge needs to be provided by parent company Experience Required: Ophthalmology, Ortho, ENT, GYN, GU, Endocrine, Surgical Oncology, Plastics, Robotics, Total Joints, and ENT. Our unit does not do general surgery, L&D, or pediatrics. Candidates should be well-rounded in specialties that align with our caseload. First-timers accepted: No Locals accepted: (Y/N) What is the local radius rule? Yes. 60 miles RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be included at the time of submission. Approval will be based on facility’s needs Guaranteed hours-Traveler may be called off 10 hours per 2-week period.

RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility's needs. Multiple RTO requests within a 8-13 week contract will be denied. Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks, hours may be broken down to equal one shift

WAMP Preop/PACU room is currently comprised of 10 RN’s, 1 PCT. There are 20 bays for our pre/post patients, 2 ORs, 2 GI procedural rooms, and 1 VIR procedural room. The pre/post RN is responsible for prepping patients prior to surgery by reviewing history, reconciling home medications, obtaining vital signs, obtaining EKG’s if applicable, starting IV’s, possible FSBS, hanging IV fluids/antibiotics, PO meds and premeds as ordered. Recovery of post anesthesia patients include monitoring patient’s vital signs through phases of post anesthesia care, and reviewing discharge instructions as well capability to discharge patients via wheel chair to vehicle.

Unit cares for variety of patients and different services to include: Orthopedics (total joints, arthroscopy cases, hand cases, shoulder & elbow cases), Interventional Radiology (VIR), & GI (upper and lower scopes). The pre/post RN works closely with surgeons, anesthesia, and OR nurses to provide safe and effective patient care in a fast-paced environment.
