Day Shift, 3x12-Hour (06:00 – 18:00, Friday–Sunday)

Job Responsibilities: Perform high-quality CT and X-ray imaging procedures for outpatient, emergency, and pediatric patients according to physician orders and department protocols. Operate Siemens CT and Samsung X-ray (preferred) equipment and utilize PACS for image management. Prepare and position patients for scans, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate anatomical imaging. Administer and monitor contrast media; start and maintain 8–9 IVs daily. Conduct CT imaging of the abdomen, pelvis, chest, head/neck, and spine, including CTA, brain perfusion, and cardiac CT studies. Perform X-ray exams including extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, chest/thorax, and musculoskeletal imaging. Utilize Epic charting system for accurate documentation and workflow management. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely, accurate diagnostic results. Maintain adherence to radiation safety, infection control, and departmental protocols. Float to other Cone Health facilities as needed. Required Skills & Experience: ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications (required) Active North Carolina license (required at submission) BLS certification (required) Minimum 2 years of CT/X-ray experience (required; first-time travelers accepted) EPIC charting experience (required) Proficiency in Siemens CT systems, PACS, and portable imaging Experience performing both CT and general radiography in outpatient and emergency settings Strong IV starting and contrast administration skills Experience with adult, pediatric, and geriatric populations (infant/pediatric experience preferred)
