We are looking for an Ultrasound Technologist (US Tech) for an immediate travel opening in The Dalles, OR. As a US Tech, you will be responsible for the use of the ultrasound machine and ensuring that images are accurate and passed on to physicians for medical interpretation. US Techs are also responsible for the preparation of and caring for patients undergoing ultrasound testing. Use sonographic equipment to identify and observe the area(s) of concern Prepare the exam room for examinations and assist Radiologists with ultrasound procedures and ultrasound-guided biopsies Report any abnormalities that require immediate attention to the appropriate medical staff Maintain sonography equipment and report machinery failure US Techs must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
Requirements*:
BLS, ARDMS, ARDMS (RDMS BR), ARDMS (RDMS OB/GYN), ARDMS (RDMS RVT), 2 Years * Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
